As an MBA admissions consultant at Ivy Groupe, you will guide and work directly with clients as they craft their MBA applications.  Authenticity is at the foundation of our work with clients – we believe that every single candidate who is applying to business school has a story to tell, and we collaborate with clients to help turn their stories and their passions into their success.  As an MBA Admissions Consultant at Ivy Groupe, you will draw upon this core philosophy to help clients craft their unique narrative to business schools, enabling them to put their best foot forward so that they can achieve their dreams and impact the world.  And yes, you can also leverage lessons you learned yourself while going through the MBA application process to pay it forward and help others!

This position is ideal if you are seeking supplemental income and flexible hours (please note that the busiest months are from July-January).  Additionally, this is a remote position so you can be based anywhere.

​

Your responsibilities will include the following:

​

• Managing client engagements; ensuring high-level, collaborative, and impactful working relationships; and providing excellent customer service

• Guiding your clients through our “no stone left unturned” strategy phase which will form the foundation of their authentic and compelling applications

• Coaching your clients through the execution phase of the applications. Drawing upon the strategy work conducted, this entails providing both verbal and written guidance to help your clients implement their MBA strategy across the various application components such as the resume, essays, and data forms/short answers

• Preparing your clients for interviews and conducting mock interviews

• Providing support to colleagues by sharing insight, knowledge, and best practices

• Occasionally speaking with prospective clients via introductory phone calls

Qualifications:

​

• MBA from a top 10 U.S. business school and must be residing in the U.S.

• Ability to connect and empathize with others (i.e. high “EQ”)

• Impeccable project management and time management skills (i.e. can manage multiple client engagements, deadlines, and priorities)

• Robust communication skills, both written and oral

• Extremely strong writing skills, both when it comes to essay development (structure/content) as well as essay mechanics (sentence structure, punctuation, grammar, etc.)

• Willingness to learn and follow Ivy Groupe’s proprietary MBA admissions process (consultants will go through an in-depth training process)

• Prior admissions experience and/or previous MBA admissions consulting experience is a plus

Compensation:

It is our goal to compensate above industry norms for this position.  Plus, there may be opportunities to share your talents in other ways and earn additional supplemental income as the company continues to grow!
